Awesome, now let’s see how they have to update Zandvoort to make F1 level. There’s a few places on the current layout that need a lot more runoff room.

Let’s see how the Dutch GP pans out. Paul Ricard was a success and a decent race. Unless they return to Jerez I will not care if F1 never sets foot in Spain again.

I am excited about the return of the Dutch Grand Prix because the Netherlands is a real country that cares about motor racing and not a despotic third world oil dictatorship like America. However, if I felt differently I would say this: Zandvoort? More like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, the noise cartoon characters make while sleeping because they are bored of the bad race track Thanks

MaoistBanker posted:It's going to be harder to pass on this track than Monaco The onboard makes it look very tight indeed, but the wide angle exarcebates it. I recently watched the '83 GP there and - aside from it looking much the same - those cars did manage some overtaking but I would fear the braking performance and poo poo tyres we have now (they could simply muscle the cars more back then and the tyres would not suffer too badly) I don't think it'll be very good.

It is, however, still the best track on the calendar

To be fair Sulman ‘83 is kinda a bad example because of how weird that year was in general. However, the ‘80-‘82 and ‘84-‘85 races were good shows. Let’s hope it’s more Paul Ricard than Mexico.
