Guitar player for the Melvins, Fantomas and a smattering of other things. Kinda marches to his own beat. Boyhood pals with Kurt Cobain (and introduced Dave Grohl to him and Novoselic after the current Foo Fighters' frontman band back then, Scream, broke up). Influenced A LOT of Sludge/Stoner/Doom bands. As I distinctly remember of a goon posting itt: The fact that he was willing to install a neck pickup in the bridge position and only roll with that for his main sound influenced a lot of people's sounds.

All slow and heavy music has passed through the "Melvins influence duodenum" at some point. edit: Lysol comes out in '92. Earth's album Earth 2 comes out a year later in February '93 and sets up this whole SunnO))) ambient doom thing we've been doing for 30 years.
