I'm smack in the middle of five installations. If Colorado Springs isn't leveled, I'll be sorely disappointed. Partially because I'd probably still be alive somehow, but if they redirected bombs from the city to the AFA and james dobsons' properties, I'd gladly mutate into a four armed, two dicked monstrosity. My second set of arms would also be left hand biased.

In and Out has a good reputation because it is the only burger place at all within a short drive of Bel Air, so all the children of the ultra-wealthy who have never had a normal burger in their life think that's what eating a burger is. The rich get to make the messaging and tell all their media friends that actually, In and Out is best and it's totally fine for French fries to come from discarded straw wrappers and for there to be 24/7 armed guards in a glorified MacDonalds guarding their hellhole awful bathroom from the homeless

Politico has this article about vets dealing with the fear of and actual stigmatization from the VA for being marijuana users. I know that jazz cigarettes are all the rage here but I知 wondering if anyone here has dealt with anything like this. When MJ is eventually legal at the federal level, I anticipate all kinds of growing pains and bureaucratic headaches when agencies that had JUST SAY NO practically written into their policies suddenly have to readjust.

If you so much as ever piss in a cup or have a blood draw at the VA, they can check if they have suspicion. I don't worry about it, openly discuss it with my psychiatrist, psychologist, and any doctor I deal with there. I'd rather they know, in the event they need to prescribe anything. Also why I hang onto zoloft for dear loving life, because I don't want to risk any more adverse side effects than needing twenty minutes to jack off. My docs know I'm weary of pharmaceuticals, they see where I've routinely turned down opiates (outside of ER visits) in their notes on my records. It's largely a trust issue with the doctor I'm dealing with, so unless they throw up religious noise or super-conservative talking points, then we'll talk pot all they want. Since I've moved to pot/hash, my body weight is in the normal range. My blood pressure is routinely 110/70 to 130/90. My resting heart rate is higher (80ish), but there's 21 years of tobacco smoking tobacco in there too. Don't get sick terribly often, but bronchitis got a touch on me this year for a few days. I still take Ibuprofen for some aches and pains, but no other prescriptions besides zoloft. An important part of most of all of that, is I quit drinking. Not entirely, but I've had three beers this year. It's been almost three years since I curled up with a bottle of liquor. When I break all that down to whatever doctor is asking, they tend to lean more on the intoxicating effects. So I'll go see them on a return visit after smoking as much as I can before the appointment. That's when it starts to click that tolerance to marijuana is a real thing, and the goofy giggles stage of pot is not a permanent effect with heavy use. I'll do whatever math in my head that they ask, usually just serial sevens or fast division but sometimes conversions (metric is becoming my jam). Play memory games. But plain and simple, when you have a heavily established tolerance, the "psychedelic" effect diminishes. Goddamn that got long, my bad. "Official" policy apparently turned tide after the turn of the millennium, and they stopped loving with disability ratings over it. No one really argues with me over it, and if your doctor isn't on the same page as you, see a patients advocate and request a change. I even tell them light estimates of how much I smoke. Not terribly accurate unless I'm busy as hell all week. CRUSTY MINGE fucked around with this message at 19:35 on May 26, 2019 |

Two ounces of flower is a misdemeanor in Texas. It's the county/city statutes that make the punishments that really screw people. Concentrates are still a felony regardless of amount there though. gently caress that noise. But, Oklahoma has medical dispensaries up and running now. Legalization is coming, going to ride in on recession-back. There's a reason John Boehner is whoring for weed investments.

There are ancillary ways to make money from weed than just selling consumables. Being hemps' cousin and all.
