Division I NCAA athletes in serious/nationally- competitive programs spend an exorbitant amount of time and effort focusing on athletics, and it's pretty open knowledge that they're barely able to function as college students, so it seems plausible to me that a low B average is a record. What's sick is bragging about it, as if it's not evidence of the deep sickness of college football as an institution.

Student athletes at big sports schools have attendance-graded study halls that count for credit, special versions of normal classes that are watered down w drastically reduced workload, and access to individual tutors (paid for by federal work study grants, i.e. your taxes), whom are pressured, coerced, or even bribed to complete the athletes’ coursework for them and they have yet to swing a B average ever
