I assume part of the split was keeping DCU properties out of Vert. Plus it's looking like YA is gonna outlive it, so

Looking through wikipedia, post-Berger Vert I've tried and liked:
Post Berger American Vampire
Trillium
The Kitchen
Art Ops
Sheriff of Babylon
Unfollow
Deathbed
Dark Night: A True Batman Story
The Dreaming
American Carnage
Border Town. Can't deny I liked those few issues before the author was revealed to be an abusive sexual predator.

E: There's also Astro City and Sandman Overture, which I'm sure are wonderful, but I'm way behind on the original runs.
Wiki seems incomplete. The Kitchen wasn't on their list.

Because YA still touched the DCU, it wasn't walled off like Vertigo was at one point.

When Berger stepped down in 2012, she handed the reigns over to Shelley Bond (nee Roeberg) who was with Vertigo since it formed in 1993. They fired her in 2016, and generally DC hollowed out everyone in the Vertigo office over the course of the 2010s. While having Berger at the helm (and hiring the editors) is important, if you look at the big Vertigo books of the past 25 years and who actually edited them:

100 Bullets - Axel Alonso, Will Dennis
American Vampire - Mark Doyle
Daytripper - Brandon Montclare, Pornsak Pichetshote
DMZ - Will Dennis, Axel Alonso, Will Dennis
Fables - Shelley Bond
Hellblazer (Vertigo Era) - Stuart Moore, Casey Seijas, Shelley Bond
Invisibles - Stuart Moore, Shelley Bond
Preacher - Stuart Moore, Axel Alonso
Sandman - Karen Berger
Scalped - Will Dennis
Sweet Tooth - Brandon Montclaire, Pornsak Pichetshote, Mark Doyle
Transmetropolitan - Stuart Moore, Shelley Bond, Cliff Chiang, Axel Alonso, Tony Bedard, Heidi MacDonald
Unwritten - Pornsak Pichetshote, Shelley Bond, Gregory Lockard
Y The Last Man - Heidi MacDonald, Will Dennis

Obviously twenty five years is a long time to hold onto any given personnel, but DC has generally done an awful job in the past ten+ years of holding onto any of these people.

Axel Alonso got poached by Marvel in 2000, ascending to EiC in 2011, eventually getting replaced by Akira Yoshida in 2017.
Will Dennis left/got let go around the same time as Bond, and is currently a "freelance editor" doing mostly Image books by Azzarello and Lemire but also Batman Damned, somehow?
Mark Doyle jumped over to the Batman office in 2014 and apparently quit over conflicts with Tom King. He edited the Young Animal books, and is going the Gaimanverse books right now as well as the Vertigo line going on right now.

Heidi jumped back into journalism and is doing The Beat now, and Moore, Montclare, Bedard, and Chiang are all writers/artists and not editing anymore.

They fired Pichetshote, Joan Hilty, and Jonathan Vankin all at once at the end of 2010, which was right when DC was initially restructuring as DC Entertainment and planning to move from New York to Burbank, which was honestly when the writing was probably on the wall for Vertigo as an autonomous publishing house under Berger.

I believe Andy Khouri (formerly of Comics Alliance) is currently shouldering the bulk of Vertigo's editorial work but I may be mistaken as he has pretty much stopped posting about work on Facebook and we don't really chat much these days so it feels weird to ask him.

I'm thinking this is for 'Superman' and involves Jon meeting/joining them, which is the reason he was aged up.

I get that having (a) Superboy on the Legion is both a good idea and a classic one, but I don't like it being this Superboy. Look, maybe I'm just holding onto the Gleason/Tomasi era a little too fondly but I didn't like it when Bendis aged Jon up* and I especially don't like the idea of him getting shipped off to the future. I liked Superman having a family, sue me. Aging his kid up and then sending him 1000 years away effectively destroys that.

*I didn't like it then, but I figured I could learn to live with it if it led to a good story. But so far the only story it's set up for is a bunch of Jor-El poo poo in Action which l could care less about, and for Lois and Clark to have spy adventures without having a kid around. Which like... I don't know, Batman has stories without Robin all the time so you can't say Superboy was a hurdle to letting Lois and Clark do their own things.

Tbf the nuclear domestic family thing is a much bigger deal for Clark as opposed to Batman who cannot see a child without sizing him up for a Robin costume so it's harder to ignore

He's also been posting Legion stuff for the last week, so I'm expecting it's a rollout of titles like his Wonder Comics. Maybe not another event miniseries right after Leviathan, but who knows.
It might be fun to bring back the line-wide gimmick month, a-la DC One Million.

I'm enjoying that Wilson is actually doing something with the WW mythos and tying up loose ends that shoulda been tied up a long time ago, but so far there hasn't been a whole lot of epic, memorable moments or issues. It ain't exactly nothing enough to be filler, but it feels like we're still waiting for something truly important to happen.

Wasn't the last time DC did a Millennium event it got spoiled terribly and they changed the villain at the last minute? Or was that another event?
Also talking about BMB I am really enjoying Young Justice but that's more to do with the artwork. Been ages since I read a comic where I just take in the panel and everything that is going on in the panel.
