How the hell can you believe that a predetermined universe with no free will doesn't absolve you of the moral consequences of your actions and inactions? You would have literally no choice in the matter. It's like saying that the apple falling on Newton's head, or the iceberg the Titanic hit was being unethical. Either they don't actually believe what they're talking about, or they haven't thought it through as much as they think they have.

And maybe I was too busy being upset with my dog for peeing in the house to properly pay attention to the podcast, but it seemed more like they "stated" the position rather than "summarized" the position.
