THUNDERDOME LOSER 2019

if it's not marketing i assume the kid saw a picture and thought it was cool as hell and got obsessed with it the way a 4-5 year old can.

The story is she saw it at her grandparents house or something and they kept asking if she wanted to stop watching but she wasn't scared at all and loved every second. Kids are surprising sometimes.

Jump scares don't often work on kids that young.

there's also some studies that kids look for cues from parents and adults to pretend to be scared for things like "scary" movies.

i think some parent goons even say their kids sometimes pretend to trip and cry because they want a hug before giving up on the con.

Please, please don't let me end up in a threesome with the lunch lady and a gay pirate. That would hit a little too close to home.

How loving good is this cosplay that I immediately knew who this was despite having seen this movie like twice ever and not even having thought about it in years.

Exact same reaction here, and I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen it since it came out in theaters.

Going through some old photos, here's some from the Calgary Comic Expo 2018:

Bonus:
These two images were taken sequentially at 20x zoom freehand with no editing/cropping. Just thought it was strange while organizing my photos, like some bizzaro transformation sequence.

Yeah exactly same, although I watched it to death as a kid that was 20 years ago and I absolutely haven't seen it since. I had to google to check because I doubt myself but I knew what it was instantly.

e: god I haven't thought about the cave scenes in decades, no wonder I'm so anxious about caves. This is not a children's movie
