Welp, had my first Extreme Primal try that ended up in a vote to disband after the Tanks dropped out. We wiped to Titan just over and over and it was really unfun. I feel like that should rid me of the damned sprout icon alone.

If you open up party finder in the menu, you can find an unsynced party. Or ask in the FC or linkshell.

The ARR launch primals tend to have absurdly quick attacks because square forgot that lovely cross-country barely-broadband connections are how most of the US has to play. It really only matters with Titan's knockbacks though.

Man 44-50 was completely miserable. 3 runs of Dzemael Darkhold and 3 runs of Aurum Vale, all of which were excruciating. But at least I have a level 50 Dark Knight now.

What exactly makes them miserable? If it's other players then GC squadrons can get you through those dungeons pretty painlessly. At least, that's how I got through them on my DRK and it didn't seem rough.

I took the handful of lowbie jobs I had from 41-50 off of stone vigil runs for mogstones. The only bad part was the warrior who tried to door-to-door pull without tank stance, cooldowns, or appropriate armor.

The netcode was also far worse at 2.0 launch and some people who could dodge everything else in the game no problem couldn't get out of landslide. It was great!

Thanks, that actually makes a lot of sense. I'm only 53 so I don't know that it makes much of a difference for me and also I'm really loving bad at that fight so I'm not sure how best to power through this poo poo.

What are you doing Titan Ex at 53 for? Story progress isn't gated behind it and it doesn't drop anyrhing you'd want to equip for more than a level or so, just leave it and come back later. I don't know if Titan is one of them, but a few of the EX fights in ARR are blue quests that only complete when you actually defeat them, instead of just like touching the entrance and getting it added to the duty finder. When I was leveling a month ago I misunderstood that to mean that there was some reason to do them, as was true of most of the blue quests I had come across.

Like, there are numerous different ways to get from 46-50.
