Possibly a knife as well. The violent nerd's version of carrying a bag everywhere with everything in it because you never know when you might need sticky labels. Anyway, it's rather reassuring that if these people tried to actually do something violent, it's quite likely that they'd get confused over all their weapons and not actually hit anyone (as with this chap in Dallas today)

Chernobyl was literally an order of magnitude worse than Fukushima. The only reason they're both 7s is because the scale doesn't have fine gradations at the "huge disaster" end

Coverups, people slavishly following orders, tensions around free thought and duty or rules, etc. Replace the Russian state with TEPCO and a lot of poo poo is the same.
