NEXT: KRAVEN

Not a joke. This is actually the end of this arc and we are getting Kraven right afterward. Lombard/Loomis is never mentioned again, Carole is basically written out (shows up on a future arc for a while, but then it's gone for good), and a classic super villain is back. In fact, the plot goes NSM bonkers again instead of trying to make a real life point like how dangerous cult-like personalities can be (something the distant year of 2019 has yet to learn).

I guess Stan Lee didn't get good feedback on this one.

Well, the climactic fight was a Power Point presentation, so I'm not surprised.

Would you be my new best friends?

I hope Carole moved to Canada so that every time Peter talks about his hot girlfriend and people ask where she is, he has to reply,"Oh you wouldn't know her, she lives in Canada."

Oh? Why'd she move up there?
Well, she was being relentlessly hunted by a cult.

Why do I get the feeling that whenever Al Ewing gets his hands on Spider-Man Carole is going to make her triumphant return?

When Loomis was taken back to the asylum, he asked if he could stop off at Cult HQ to grab all the money he had stashed away there.

Being able to shoot webbing in order to avoid falling to death is the one thing Spider-Man is really known for. Just saying.

Generally not like that but he has tech for hovering and limited flying. Usually he shrouds it in a cloud of mist underneath his boots.

Based on the Killgrave storyline, he's prone to forgetting that he's wearing webshooters whenever distracted.

The tools of a hero mean nothing without a solid core.

That is beautiful. Surprising and yet completely on-brand for a Mysterio appearance.

Good thing Spidey knew that Mysterio had a hoverboard and that the deadly discus didn't actually exist so he was never hurt

I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but you can ride the subway in the new(est) Spider-Man game and it just reminds me of the comic every time

The most NSM thing in the game for me is when I took out a guard by violently tearing his watchtower to the ground, and another guard came by and said "I think someone might be here! :monocle: "

The most NSM thing for me in the game was getting blown off a roof by a rocket out of nowhere and forgetting how to use my web shooters on the way down.

The newspaper scans I get these from are missing all the Sundays for no apparent reason. I'm honestly surprised the plot advances on Sundays instead of just duplicating the weekdays. I guess it took a while for the redundancy to set in.
