The problem is that communities are still pretty intrinsically kind of connected to the people who manage them. Lowtax for better or worse is still Lowtax, and he never sold out (to his complete lack of benefit)- even when he's not around a lot you still see/feel the influence. It's part of why this place is still pretty good even in the face of some really bad mod choices over the years- because it's generally correcting back towards the mean. ResetEra is basically split from a community that was never any good to begin with. None of this poo poo was out of place for Gaf, and the new asylum is being ran by the inmates; is anyone really shocked when it turns out to basically be worse?
