I think he works out. the movie is less faithful to Sherlockiana than most fanfic, so be ready for that.

I finally brought myself to watch Rollergator. It's about as bad as everyone said it would be. The most hilarious thing to me was the sudden scene of Joe Estevez talking to that giant mutant creature. Like, the rest of the movie runs together and is the same problems in every scene, but then THAT GUY shows up looking like his production quality is far too good to be in this piece of poo poo.

Things I enjoyed less than Rollergator: The first episode of Stranger things (riffed). Birdbox. My cholecystectomy. In fact Mike and the guys are welcome to copy and paste this blurb free of charge. "Rollergator: ...more fun than a cholecystectomy..." -The Something Awful forums.

For me Rollergator is right to the edge of the line in terms of badness before the riffing isn't worth it. I enjoyed the riff even though the movie is excruciating. I think it's definitely the worst movie that's ever been riffed from any iteration or branch off of MST3K. And a big part of that is the goddamn loop of music.

I would consider re-watching or even re-buying if they just had a version where they remixed the sound with the music at a lower volume. I didn't get through because that soundtrack was both unlistenable and at the same level as the actors.

I really recommend Mercy Mission for early 90's made-for-TV goodness. It's based on a real story, which means they change a lot of key details to make things more dramatic. Scott Bakula's plane is lost over the Pacific and it's up to Robert Logia and a plane full of passengers to find him before he crashes. Also, it's Christmas. I'd plugged it on ideas.rifftrax and figured I may as well plug it here too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4_f3T8AzJo

Like I was saying earlier, the problem is that everything is the same with it. You watch one scene of bad sound, bad acting, bad dialogue, bad humor, nonsense plot, etc. and know that every scene that follows is going to be the same. You're stuck with it. The classic bad movies are those that go places and find variety in why they're so ridiculous.

There's a distinct lack of overbearing guitar noodling ITT, and not one of you has made a sad attempt at rap lyrics. Anyway Hillbillies in a Haunted House is entirely forgettable and should probably be skipped, the title is way more fun than the film.

I thought HiaHH had a certain charm to it, especially with its absurdly high acting pedigree for its villains for what was essentially a Josie and the Pussycats story.

I like Hillbillies in a Haunted House cause its basically a scooby doo episode that takes a derailing turn into the weirdest defense of the confederacy ever put to film

Nobody's supposed to be sympathetic except Trash and the girl and probably Fred Williamson. These kinds of Italian movies are big on nihilistic outlooks.

Ehh. Bronx Warriors wasn't very good and I don't think I'll ever rewatch it. The director clearly learned from his mistakes though, the Escape 2000 mst3k episode is one of the best.

By the way, this was awesome but whoever said Samurai Cop is like a porn movie wothout the sex scenes should watch the original cut. Yowza. I think all the women in the movie are naked at some point, half of them full frontal.
