Spent the weekend at my mother’s dropping off the kids and she only had those starbucks instant packets which have a kinda funny chalky taste. Grateful to be home with proper coffee and a comfy chair.

having a delicious pourover (made with a kalita wave) of an ethiopian coffee from kuma it's good but i can tell i should've hydrated better because it feels like i can't quite taste it correctly but that would mean drinking not-coffee while i have coffee in front of me

also I've started a thing where I just pour half a glass out of the cold brew steep mug and then refill with water been get a lot more mileage out of the bean sand and can do it for 3-4 days with no change in taste Bhodi fucked around with this message at 16:04 on Jul 4, 2019 |

I kinda want to do that and just put all the beans i need for the week into water in the fridge so monday i get blasted wit h the H I G H E N E R G Y but on friday i'm down to like homeopathic levels and can just have a regular one on sat and sunday

one of the many benefits of the aeropress is how trivially easy it is to clean. dump bean sand, rinse cylinder, enjoy that good sludge i think i'll have some coffee now
