The answer is, mate, because I want to do you slowly. There has to be a bit of sport in this for all of us. In the psychological battle stakes, we are stripped down and ready to go. I want to see those ashen-faced performances; I want more of them. I want to be encouraged. I want to see you squirm.

What was that terrible Brazilian guy they used to have, Fernando Duarte or something like that? He was real bad.

Is there a way for me to download the ramble without using some app I don't want to use?

Stopped listening last year or whenever they stopped actually hosting the mp3s on their site.

Depending on what podcast app you use. Some let you download them. I use Podcast Addict but I presume most let you do so.

Edit. Thought you said data not app.

Firefox has a Web scraping addon that downloads mp3 files from sites so you could try that.

I'm also fairly sure they host them on acast now. Which should allow you to download them

I think you can get the file using iTunes on a computer or you can listen through Spotify if you have that anyway. Both are apps of course, but not podcast apps.

You can listen through a browser here. That also has links to different places you can listen to it and an rss feed, not sure about downloading directly.

Ramble used to upload to Mixcloud where I believe you can download the mp3. Not sure if they still do.

Yeah, it's one joke, much like the Hodgeson stuff. Thankfully it wasn't in the latest one.

The Tescos line was great and I was genuinely happy for Andy when he got the quiz right. First one I've gotten right myself, too.

Meh non of those rewards seem worth paying for, but if it gets them a bit of extra cash more power to them.

Just lol if you pay the football ramble $250 a month though.

Eh, I think the rewards are kinda cool and the only thing that leapt out at me was this:

quote:

- Be the star of your very own episode of ‘Ramble Meets…’, recorded right here in our London studio. The audio will be yours to keep forever and ever (redeemable after three months of this level of patreon-age.)

I can't tell if you get this reward after three months (so 750 dollars) or if the audio copy is available after 750 dollars.

I was complaining to my girlfriend yesterday that the Ramble wasn’t silly enough anymore, before walking home from work with Monday’s show on and absolutely losing it in the street to Luke telling Pete “WAIT!” after remarking on that Greenwood’s ‘fitness’ and age.
