"Hi Everybody!"

Basebf555 posted:

This is the very first day my parents brought him home. You can tell from this pic that he's a pretty(sweet, goofy) big boy. They got him from a lab rescue organization but we're pretty sure he's got some Great Dane in him. Actually kind of a sad pic as well because I think you can see in my dad's face that he's still mourning their previous dog, Charlie.

Augie(short for Augustus) immediately took to the back yard, and he loves sitting on the deck like this and taking stock of his new kingdom.

So you're saying the first pic is a shot of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy? :v:

My father grew up with Augie Doggie so he's most definitely named after the cartoon dog.

Those robot feeders are great, btw. It opens for authorized cats based on scanning their microchips, so Rexie can't get at the normal food that upsets her stomach, and the other cats can't gobble her super expensive hydrolyzed diet. Technology is wonderful.

I had a cat that absolutely loving loved Milo and Otis. Nothing else with cats or dogs, just that movie. If I was flipping through channels and it was on I'd call him in so he could watch it. Then get up and do something else so he could watch tv :v:

My 17-year-old cat loves TV. She likes anything with another cat on it, especially documentaries that include lions or tigers. But her favourite thing is a youtube video I've bookmarked for her that's just birds flying in and out, eating seeds and stuff. She sits and watches them for ages. She'll patpat the screen, trying to get one. Once in a while she peeks around back of the screen to see if she can take them unawares somehow.

Today she's parading around naked because her collar's come off somewhere. Old ladies got no shame.

I don't have a video of her doing anything exciting but here's a tiny clip of her being super interested.
