DRK currently has three buckets of resources to mind: MP, blood, and Darkside duration. It feels like at least two of those should've been fused together, so that you'd generate Darkside duration using Edge/Flood/TBN and then spend it on your super-attacks or summoning your clone, but need to find ways to keep the income up since it drains away on its own.

I don't think it can run out unless you're not using your MP restores or blowing TBN on low damage. Even at 50 with Blood Weapon down I get enough MP from my 1-2-3 plus natural regen to keep it going forever.

i genuinely hope there aren't too many more fights in eden like 3 and 4. it was cool for those but it'll be pretty disappointing if those make up the majority.

I'm finally up to the end of the post Stormblood stuff and does ANYONE stay dead? Gaius?! We killed him ourselves! Even Zenos's dead great grandad is loving still alive now And so I'm listening to him talk, and I hear an Irish accent and I'm thinking oh I should look up who is playing him now and it's loving Michael McElhatton. I'm still working my way through the pre-HW quest stuff, got my paladin to level 53. Is it too early to start checking out the Dark Knight stuff? I'm just wondering if I should stick with my paladin until I get closer to level 70 or 80.

The only issues you might find is having to grind up your alt class to the same level if you want to continue MSQ with them, and gear, since any new class won't get the steady supply of on-level equipment from quest rewards. Though if you switch between tanks specifically, they all share fending gear, so it should only be a matter of doing some roulettes. Any class under your max level one also gets bonus exp for every enemy killed, so it's pretty easy to catch them up. Also every ARR/HW class starts at the low-level basics again, which can be either horribly boring after getting used to having a decent rotation or welcome, if you're learning a new role and want to start slow.

I decided to grind AST through the upper 40s by doing PvP. I liked it better than doing ARR leveling dungeons. Hopefully I can get all the classes to 60 before the Garo gear goes away in 5.1.

70 actually, the exp bonus only applies up to 69 but that means it falls off at 70. Would be weird if it stopped at 69

Got through the first two Eden bosses yesterday man, that second fight is basically designed to trip up pubbies. My pub couldn't process that the attacks still resolve in the order they were initialized. The DPS kept collapsing on the healers and blasting them with the Fire 3. Hopefully I'll have time tonight to knock the other two out, but the fights are pretty good thus far. Also got in a goon group to do a learners Innocence EX that we got the kill on. That was a ton of fun and not particularly difficult mechanically, it was just a matter of keeping damage up enough to beat the enrage. In other news, MCH is now 68, WHM 74. I'll have a healer and DPS to go along with my tonk soon enough. I figure I'll really hone in on RDM once I get one or the other of MCH/WHM to 80.
