there's no 'connections' at play here, literally all Trump wants is a popular black guy to stand next to him so his team can go "OH WOULD A RACIST DO THIS????" after spending a week telling a Somali American to go back where she came from. A$AP is/was a lot close to Drake, Lil Wayne (both people Ye had falling outs with long ago) and Tyler the Creator. People think hip-hop/rap is a lot more homogeneous than it actually is.
