th[ laws of Marxism supersede the laws of thermodynamics as they are more phenomenologically significant in day to day life

The TL;DR as I understand it is that economic activity can be ultimately understood as the transfer or expenditure of energy in one form or another, so you can apply some concepts from thermodynamics to analyzing it.

E:

Wikipedia posted:

Thermoeconomists maintain that human economic systems can be modeled as thermodynamic systems. Thermoeconomists argue that economic systems always involve matter, energy, entropy, and information. Then, based on this premise, theoretical economic analogs of the first and second laws of thermodynamics are developed.

Moreover, many economic activities result in the formation of structures. Thermoeconomics applies the statistical mechanics of non-equilibrium thermodynamics to model these activities. In thermodynamic terminology, human economic activity may be described as a dissipative system, which flourishes by consuming free energy in transformations and exchange of resources, goods, and services.

that doesn't mean Marxism supersedes thermodynamics just that they're relevant/applicable in different areas. why are Marxists so obsessed with creating hierarchies

Life is merely an orderly decay of energy states, and survival requires the continual discovery of new energy to pump into the system. He who controls the sources of energy controls the means of survival.

his later years as Neo-Exdeath are a bit shaky, as once he really delved into his own work, he wanted to return all things: class, society, culture; all to zero

isn't this how they get their energy in the Culture novels

just pull all the power you need from a parallel universe

that's how space communism is gonna prove thermoeconomics wrong

In the Culture novels they're pulling energy directly from the underlying radiation of the universe itself. Like, literally tearing into the substance of the void and extracting all of its underlying energies.
