He's definitely not. I know some folks who interact with him in a non-film capacity and he's apparently a sweetheart.

Jake was running the stairs in Santa Monica way before it was cool and then everybody started showing up to run the stairs because they heard Jake Gyllenhall ran them and he was welcoming and charming and ran with everybody and his charisma can only be described as Forest Gump running across country and everybody loves him for that. That's my Jake story.

It's not really that weird, he's done a couple of other movies and IIRC some TV directing as well.

Fred Durst is most known for his workmanlike, idiosyncratic directing style. Even when an actor flubs their line or there are continuity errors between shots, he elects to keep ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' WHAT

Nightcrawler is probably my fave performance of his, although I'm also a big Detective Loki fan. I didn't care a whole lot for Velvet Buzzsaw overall but I would absolutely watch something just about Morf.

Didn't they already try do a Zombieland TV show? Imagine those angry execs fuming about having an unsuccessful zombie franchise several years ago, and slamming a Zombieland 2 into production, out of what is basically spiteful apathy

Is there a way to get videos to actually show up embedded in posts in the Android Awful app? I have the option selected under the settings but it has never worked.

Since I cant actually see embeds, I don't actually think about it when making posts myself. Are there any benefits to embedding other than saving a couple of clicks and being able to see what the video is beforehand (I posted what the video was though so people wouldn't have to worry about that)?

They made a pilot for Amazon but this was back when Amazon let people "vote" on pilots and it was pretty universally derided. Didn't help that they went with a bunch of nobodies to try and take the place of the original cast.

Watching it on the same page here is the big plus.
Other than that, embedded videos catch the eye if I'm skimming posts. Links don't.

Imagine if the poster thread didn't have images embedded.
