What does that mean? I just sit in my nightclub with a heavy object on my controller stick overnight. No extra fees that I've noticed.

You get charged your upkeep costs though as the nightclub works without being in an MC, I think they should be fairly low because I don't think you pay upkeep on MC businesses unless you're running the MC.

The issue with the fees is overblown... I’ve never used the mission AFK method because I always forget and as long as you quit ceo or god-forbid MC before you afk, you’ll still make a ton of money. Zero grinding

I hate to see people min-maxing this game. There’s so much to do that pays money and so many ways to do it. If it feels like grinding, don’t do it... move onto something else or another game. I made money to buy crate warehouses by doing contact missions and vip work. While I’m one of the odd people that actually liked crates for a while, I burned out on them too. But before that, I tried doing them with different vehicles, different strats... etc to keep it fresh. Heists were always a pain in the rear end to find people to me so I STILL haven’t done them all in tyool 2019 and lvl ~470

But don’t get me wrong... nightclub dlc was the game changer. I literally have to look for stuff to spend money on now and haven’t had to grind for a second since it dropped

run the hangar, bunker, coke, meth, and counterfeit cash out of your nightclub. go afk by watching security cameras or a TV while the you sleep. sell the nightclub once a day for 3/4 million dollars then goof off or help friends do stuff

Thats the fukkin spirit right here.. Figure out what you want and how to pay for it one chunk at a time. For me, that new Issi is a beauty cuz I already have 5 unique ones in a garage, so a collection of 6 is like whoa. Looking forward to the new Gauntlets to lump together. Geuss I've got a thing for garages dedicated to a single car variations, and yes there are 7 different Dominators, 6 different Issi's, and I still get a chubby walking into the garage with classic and new Cheetah/Turismo/Infernus all color matched and lined up across form each other. It's a sickness

I always think back to the "If you give a mouse a cookie.." mindset though because of the Nightclub->Terrorbyte->Opressor2->weapons chain, or the bunker->research->MOC->weapons progression.

For going AFK, since nightclubs Ive been going back to the club, stand in front of the TV in the office and you can watch the DJ set. That has seemed much more reliable that TV watching, like they fiddled with that timer or something. As mentioned, as long as you resign your CEO and MC, you get hit with a pretty minimal night club charge. You dont need to rubberband a stick with this method either

OwlFancier

All the upgrades and best businesses nets you I think like 40k an hour stock value, costs uhhhh something like 8 mil or something? I think it takes like 140 hrs to break even or something. Watched a video of it ages ago.

But if you want to pay the lecky bill to run your computer all night I guess you can do it.

If you sell special orders in full lobbies I assume that will up your margins.

idk, like 900k/business, 5 businesses is 4.5m, 5 associates for them is like another million so 5.5m, nightclub for whatever, 1.5m? so 7m. cost of an MC. 1.4m for the equipment upgrade to double your collection speed. i think that's it? so like $9m or something at ~800k a day assuming you never get blown up. bout 2 weeks to break even i guess? could be missing something

e: oh nightclub storage upgrades are like 1.4m or something too so around $10-11m

If you're just looking at the one sale a day method, then technically you only need 5 of the businesses. AND all 5 floors of night club storage. AND all 5 night club techs. AND the night club equipment upgrade(not staff, and not security)

Each of the businesses accumulates at a different rate, and each has a different per unit sale price. Cargo(crates) and Sporting goods(bunker) are the most profitable but they take the longest, so your 24 hour AFK period won't make as much. The others all will fill in about 20-22 hours, for a slightly lower per unit sale rate. I *think* the 5 mc businesses are the best for this method, these all will be at or close to 100% after ~22 hours, so if you sell around the same time daily, its about $750k-$800k that you make per sale.

For pre-reqs, you need to buy each of the mc businesses and run at least the initial supply mission to get it started, but you dont need to upgrade these at all, and never have to go back to them. Just leave them open and endure the calls of "LJ Here and geuss what money doesnt grow on trees it grows in a money factory"

Assign your 5 techs to the 5 businesses and that's all there is to it, besides leaving the game online all day every day

So then, besides the MC clubhouse and MC business costs, even the most pimped out Night Club is like 4 million, so to break even on that cost is maybe a week solid of this?

Since you're not running around and buying supplies or making little sales, then whatever other time you play the game can be either loving around(if you already have some bit of cash for spending) or supply/sell something a little bit more active. Bunker is a good one for this

I'd recommend starting with a CEO office and vehicle warehouse. It's a lot more active income than Bunker and MC businesses, and honestly kind of fun to do. Though never sell in a lobby by yourself as you'll have to deal with NPCs that destroy you. There are crews you can join that host sessions with just them, and there you can sell cars every time - there's a trick to only get high end cars that takes a while to set up, but ends up netting you $100k every time you sell one.

Bunker is good if you can leave your system idling for a while, I think it's $75,000 worth of supplies leads to $225,000 profit and if you sell just that, you only have one vehicle.

MC businesses are terrible income by themselves, but necessary once you start doing nightclub idling. I made about 100 million with this set up -

Bunker (Actively sold and resupplied)
Crate Warehouse buy a hangar instead (Just did initial set up, then only used for Nightclub)
MC Cocaine, MC Meth and MC Counterfeit Cash (Only did initial setup).

That led to about a million per night of leaving the system idle - it costs you electric bill in real life, but not a huge amount.

I noticed with the Casino games, the onscreen help and tool tips and rules of the games are pretty clear. I'm sure that was a directive from the legal dept, to put the odds and game play mechanics and stuff like that in plain view. Compare to previous additions and so many have been "figure it out yourself" or run to reddit/here/youtube once others have figured it out. When night clubs dropped, the interplay between the actual NC and the other businesses was kind of obscure if you didnt pay attention during first time tours, or read about it outside of the game. Obviously people are STILL confused about this if they are just jumping in, getting back into it, or finally paying attention to it for whatever reason

I didn't see it myself, but apparently GTA$ that were funded by shark cards cannot be used directly to purchase Chips. There's some background flag set that tracks which funbux came from cards and which were earned in game. Now that won't stop the diehards that buy a shark card, buy cars with that, and then sell the cars for a loss just to get laundered cash to buy Chips. That's some serious Flintstones bet Bet BeT! BET!!! addiction levels but I would not be surprised if some people have already gone through that just to get they fix on

After winning a car on the big wheel, it is removed from the display stand. Not sure what happens if you spin and land on it a second time in the same week? Kinda reads like with the weekly dripfeed there will be a different car prize.

Gambling itself, and especially gambling within a video game, is not really my bag at all. I've tried out the games and slots a bit, enough that as long as those are only Chips prizes I won't be playing much unless a group are all in on the tables messing around. The big wheel Ill keep spinning for the RP and other prizes.

Never did find a bong in the penthouse. Watched a movie while I was kind of lurking doing other things last night. The shared garage is a great concept, but not being able to drive around in it and move cars for photo-ops is a real dumb choice, as that's part of the allure of having a car show space. Still limited to only one car per person, and weaponized(even with no weapons installed) vehicles are not allowed in it. I think the few times I was checking it out, there are some nice NPC cars in it but you cant get into any of them. Also each time I was in there, there was one NPC car with a COWBOY license plate, but it seems like more of just a visual easter egg and nothing interactive. The limo service fast travel to _____ is pretty convenient, so that might be new game spawning point... Join in, spin the wheel, then limo over to the office or whatever I have in mind. The valet service(car and heli) is a bit limited since you have to have the car in one of the garages(parking or penthouse) or have purchased the helicopter. CEO assistant wins this round. Arcade games are alright, the single player is like a Moon Patrol/Metal Slug. Wasn't able to launch the multi game with just myself? The barber dude standing next to my bathtub is creeping me out when I run through there

Playing card scavenger hunt is a new RDR crossover event. There's 54 cards scattered around the map, each gets you some RP and Chips and all of them gets you some fancy new party clothes? Also there's a TBA future red dead bonus once all collected

Haven't done any of the missions yet so got no thoughts on these. Maybe tonight

Overall lol a couple hours playing with the new toys anyway I am underwhelmed by the reality of it, just like with the Night Club. I think it expands on the nightclub as far as introducing and using shared spaces that are like hubs/non-PVP areas in other mmorpgs. The shared garage and the penthouses having access to the rooftop area are examples of what *could* be, but they're not developed with a reason to use them yet. There's a ton of potential using these spaces, but if you're not into the gambling life, or night club party dancing, then they're just big shiny new areas that won't get much use after everything is dripped out. Like the NC, I almost never ever ever run through the actual club part- its in through the garage door and to a computer, or straight to the office. I think the casino will be the same in a few weeks once I figure out where the doors are ha

Thanks for checking out my TED talk
