Dalton is like Rivers, just not good enough to get the SB without being carried by something else.

Musa Smith got his leg busted that year from that too. I think he ruined like 6 guys that year or something. Ravens used to use the horsecollar a lot in 2000 but not the swinging type. Back then it was considered good form!

Then when the NFL didn't suspend him they believe it's ironclad proof that Tyreek not only didn't abuse his son but that he never abused his fiance in the first place. These are also the type of fans who go to training camp. Er, anyway, in other news AJ Green's injury seems to be a low ankle sprain, which is good. https://twitter.com/Elise_JesseWLWT/status/1155247349054226433

In 5th string running back news (well probably not that bad) the Lions released Theo Riddick. Does he have anything left in the tank? I'd imagine no and he was never all that awesome to begin with, but I remember thinking he'd be fun to watch with Andy Reid's screen game a while back.

I thought he was still pretty good, the Lions just really weren't using him to his strengths last year (That being as a pseudo-receiver). Depending on where he goes and how he's used he could probably make another team pretty happy.

I horsecollared a guy in high school much bigger than me and it was about the easiest tackle I’d ever made. I thought I gave him a concussion too because his helmet bounced off the turf. From a defenders standpoint if it wasn’t illegal everyone would do it. You have so much leverage grabbing the back collar.

Re: end-zone fumble rules chat from a couple of pages back - Fumbles out of bounds in the end zone are a beautiful thing, but the rules could use cleaning up. How about if the offensive player was the last to touch the ball, the defending team gets to kick off from the 25. If the defensive player was the last to touch the ball, the offense resets at the 5 yard line with possession. In practice, a punch-out would be considered last touched by the offense, and the only time a ball would realistically be called as last touched by the defense is if it is loose and batted or deflected out. Also for a fumble out of bounds in the field of play, both teams line up perpendicular to the out of bounds line, and whichever team caused it to go out of bounds (last to touch, as above) the opposing team gets to throw it back in and the players can jump and lift their teammates to attempt to get the ball. Whichever team gets the ball and downs it retains possession at that point. They can call it a "line-in" or something like that.

I actually like the fumble out of bounds thing, maybe not exactly that. maybe everyone stands at the opposite sideline and the person who caused the fumble throws it like a Hail Mary
