I got most of the regular Australian birds around here but in lieu of another story bout magpies, ravens, kookaburras or parrots I'd like to bring up a lesser commented on bird. [img] The Silvereye. They really like the vines outside my office window and when they're flowering I can get 15 to 20 of these tiny green beauties. Like golf ball sized chittering green orbs.

Spotted 3 Brush Turkeys in a tree on my home today and another one scratching about underneath. I've never seen them up in a tree before.

I'm going down a rabbit hole tonight... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kw5fRwHb7o Ahahaha, I love this one. The bin owner put an actual lock on the bin, but then also put a brick on top just to troll them. The ol' brick on the lid is hilarious because if these videos are anything to go by, all they seem to do is make them stronger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHc9NLkBwmI e2: Alright last one because it had me in hysterics! Enola Gay-For-Pay posted:I'm fascinated by the revelation that cockatoos are flying racoons People always joke about the snakes and spiders in Australia, whereas it's really the birds that terrorise the country. Cockatoos have the intelligence and the sense of mischief of a 3 year old child. Anything we humans do is just a delightful challenge for them in working out how to prank us with it. Now the real flying racoons are actually the Ibises, or Bin Chickens, as they are derisively called. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4dYWhkSbTU
