Making Hercules an Eternal in the movies wouldn't be all that surprising.

You'd think that would have come up last week when they announced the full cast. I love Herc but he's not a big enough character that they're keeping it under wraps.

I always liked Herc but doesn't MCU Thor's personality kind of make him redundant

I think Herc's popularity in the comics was always that he was the fun god next to Thor being the serious god.

I could see them blurring the line between Eternals and gods.

Eternals are more demigods than anything, no?

The mcu line is already pretty blurry, between the asgardians, elders, celestials and whatever else is out there.

Ikaris and Herc fight while they try to convince Hercules that he isn't who he thinks he is. The Eternals end up being wrong It's a great run, everyone go read it!

The Hercules/Eternals talk just makes me think of a badass scene from What If the Avengers Lost Galactic Storm. It's one of those What Ifs that gradually kills off most of the cast and there's a scene where a blind Hercules and Sersi are taking on an army of Kree soldiers with Herc telling her, "LET US SHOW THEM HOW IMMORTALS DIE!"

I'd think Marvel would shy away from a character they don't 100% own the universal rights to. Edit: Meaning the assorted versions of Hercules on tv and film.

Well hey in the Incredible Hercules story I previously mentioned they slot Gilgamesh into Herc's past and they were mistaken for each other. So that works. That actually makes me think, I wonder if Disney has pursued the other classic action guys for roles since Stallone cameoed. I'd love to see Arnie pop up.

Ok, I'll do it. I was Peaseblossom in Midsummer Night's Dream when I was nine and Gaston's awful goblin from Beauty and the Beast when I was 16 so I've got the chops.

the only trans woman in the marvel comic universe is Sera, the wife of Angela, so she would be the obvious choice. unless this is someone brand new

It's gonna rip if they bring in Angela too. Holy poo poo this flick could rule so hard.

He sold her to Marvel so he probably gets a creator credit and a decent royalty check.

And, a quick google search unfortunately turns, up, two rapists who "turned trans" after being castrated by the Vulture, thanks a million Ron loving Zimmerman.

Using that as inspiration could be interesting, but probably unlikely if they're using Jess in the Spider-Verse spinoff.
