Dr. Stab posted:Pact of negation is a good one. Negation specifically isn't very good, since your opponent won't end up having to pay the cost. (They'll target your Sudden Exchange, then the pact will fizzle). Pact of the Titan or Summoner's Pact would work though.

The main idea would be to cheat in morphs with abilities, which get a lot more appealing when you can dump them at instant speed and for (3) less. Also, there's stuff like Fathom Seer where getting to pay the mana cost instead of the morph cost to turn it face-up is appealing. But even then it's more gimmicky than it is good. And your gimmick is heinously bad when you don't get this. At least it's Trophy Mage-able?

Is it worth picking up checklands now, or will they drop a bunch when standard rotates in like 2 months? Got a modern deck and fastlands in RG are a bit steep. Fetches too, sadly.

Only having to pay 3, and being able to do that even a couple turns ahead of when you need the effect, is strong.
