My brother who's in his mid 30's and has a full head of silver hair, to this day will complain about the time we were playing with super soakers in the house (a no-no by the way), and I came around the corner and he got that barrel in the eye. Some kids never stop snitching.

He was arrested like 3 years ago for having a stand-off with a SWAT team. Before that he was in Kyuss with Homme. The Queens keyboardist straight up and died about a decade ago. Mark Lanegan is on a bunch of songs, just vocals though. Off the top of my head he did Hanging Tree and a few intro outro bits. Then you've got people like Alex Turner that show up on some albums, and then wattayaknow Homme ends up producing the Arctic Monkeys next album. In summation, yeah the QotSA members list is just who Homme feels like working and drinking with. poo poo the guy's been in a band with John Paul Jones, even.

My cousin had the loving backpack supersoaker, but he upgraded and gave the awkward pack one to me. Joke's on him when I realized you could just couple the intake and tossed a hose into the pool for INFINITE AMMO. Also I'd pay good money for an AOL app that makes my daily news look like a 95 AOL landing page.

God, I love goofy-rear end 90s bowling ally/casino/movie theater carpet. My home decor is very modern minimalist, basically all gray and white, but if I could get away with carpet like this I would.

I can't remember which one I had, but I had me one of the MONSTER XL Super Soakers as a kid. http://www.isoaker.com/Armoury/SuperSoaker_monster_series.php Not 90's. Very early 00's. Those things legit hurt. It was great IDK why my parents ever bought me one.

They were a revelation. Later my younger brother had one of these: http://www.isoaker.com/Armoury/Analysis/1996/super_soaker_cps2000.php It had a power meter and took a good 3 minutes of pumping to max out. The tank only held like 2.5 shots if you maxed it out. This wasn't a problem if you were in the above ground pool FYI. COuld just drop down, fill up, pop up and blast fools.

I once had a backpack water gun. In some ways it wasn't bad because it held a lot and you didn't have to pump it up to get pressure, but the hose from the pack to the gun kept coming off so it was kind of poo poo overall. I also once had a Super Soaker 100, which had a second tank as an air pressure tank. I broke that one when I pumped it up so much that the second tank literally flew out of the gun and broke the plastic holding it in.

For my first holy communion I was gifted a super soaker 2000. Which was obviously my favorite part of the whole thing, which I honestly answered in my post communion essay. It didn’t go over well and taught me better to lie on school religious essays.

Using air pressure to force the water out of the gun was revolutionary compared to the cheap poo poo that everyone used up to that point. Modern Super Soakers sadly have gone back to the old tech, but they're using a good foot or two of travel over the cheap poo poo that has just an inch at most. That said whoever managed to get their hands on the hose was always the king of the yard.

I recall the thumb firing mechanism was a bit fiddly and would usually slip off. It was amusing to see it appear as a prop in Babylon 5 as a electronic shock glove. The neon yellow bits left intact. The Sega lock on lightgun was popular. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Lock-On It had a pretty cool LCD heads up where your lives were projected onto the little visor. It was also fun cheesing shots with IR beams fired into mirrors to get around cover.

Yea that sounds like something they'd play at the end of the night to clear out the club. I completely forgot that this was how the RHCP cover of Roller coaster of Love was used in Bevis and Butt-Head do America https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIeP4_f-ZkQ It's so obvious they had something else in mind based on how the band looks, but they had to use this song.
