Wow it was already my pick again?

I'm taking Nikolay Goldobin. 23, put up 27 pts in 63 games with solid fancies. Gives me some pop on the fourth line with Jarnkrok.

I ran the calculations, and the good news is that if they all put up their career best numbers they will match Calgary's 289 GF last year. If they produce how they're projected to produce based on the past two seasons you're closer to a flat ~200.

I had 238GF last year with team suspension so that's unfortunate. The goaltending is a lot better though so that's good.

He's old as poo poo, doesn't score as well any more, and is a bit pricey (but that's okay, I'm 13m below the floor): Alex Steen will fill out my Forward group as a 3/4 LW. Hopefully he has another 15+ goal season in him at reduced minutes and can stay not-injured

I need more actual Bolts players on my team. So I'll take Adam Erne to be my 4th line LW.

Nyquist - Monahan - Wheeler
Johansson - Trocheck - White
Nieto - Steel - Hornqvist
Erne - Ryan - x

Hedman - Petry
McNabb - Miller
x - Weegar

Washington selects Kyle Turris.

He can't have gotten that old and that bad that quickly, he's only 29. He also earns a lot of money, which is fine for a team that's apparently still not at the cap floor.

He should be a decent third pairing guy who might be able to move up a bit in case of an injury. And who knows, away from the Sabres he might be that good in general.
