Not a bad book as far as 90’s Punisher and Azrael Batman go. Denny O’Neil turned in a solid script.

Man, I was reading a comic book art thread somewhere and people were bagging on Bill Sienkiewicz for some unknown reason. I went down a Moon Knight rabbit hole and holy poo poo look at these covers https://www.google.com/search?q=bil...iw=1496&bih=686 Sienkiewicz is just sick. Transcended the medium which is hard to do. ecavalli posted:God, I hope that was some especially subtle trolling, otherwise that thread was full of loving morons. Well it was Reddit so... I actually met Sienkiewicz once as a kid/teen at a con. He signed my Moon Knight #1 which I later sold to buy cocaine when I got older. Wonder what it'd be worth now even with no authenticity cert. I really loved watching him evolve from a more loose, sketchier version of Neal Adams into a complete original. I started poking around his website and god drat I love his poo poo. I love how he draws the viewer in with the wildness of everything and keeps rewarding the eye with more and more information. He really holds your attention even if his storytelling sometimes seems hard to follow.

Sandman makes his own beach and rules it with an iron fist ala Doctor Doom.

Reed richards becomes obsessed with the occult at a young age and vows not to reach the stars but to reach limbo. Ends up dragging his three friends to hell, they become....the infernal four. (i realise this comic has already been done but gently caress it) sue becomes like half opaque and you see all her muscles and skeleton Jonny burns with hellfire and feels it constantly ben becomes like a ... i dunno gollum? and my ideas have run out, contact me MARVEL.

His physical body is kept in hell, tormented by demons as payment for Reed's arrogance, his soul attached to a body that feels nothing except the tinge of pain his real body is in. That's wicked,as for Reed i was thinking his torment is watching his friends get hosed up and them hating him,his own guilt is the punishment you know? and as for the gollum/golem thing i meant like instead of the usual "ben grimm is a big bulking beast and gets turned into a bigger hulkinger beast" he gets turned the other way. Instead of being the protector he becomes a little gargoyle freak that can't be depended on to save the day. Brazilianpeanutwar fucked around with this message at 19:39 on Aug 23, 2019 |
