I still hope they win seats at the next GE because they'll be taking them from the Tories, but I am also pre-emptively rolling my eyes at the headlines where Labour gets ahead enough for a minority government, but the Lib Dems are the real winners because they won 2 seats.

During this time the status quo of government policy would continue which is to exit with or without a deal on 31 October.

Just had a Twitter argument with one of the hard-libs I find in my follows from working in games. He responded to Corbyns letter saying it was too little too late. I asked what the alternative was and pointed out that Tories would need to rebel, which requires getting to this point, and he said Corbyn should have done this three years ago. We back and forth after I say that probably wouldn't work and also get pilloried as anti-democratic, but ultimately I tell him to put his rear end away and block him. Wish it was the first time.
