It's come to my attention that all my players except Antoine Roussel it was an accident are over 30. That's not good! In order to win you need the power of youth and that's why the Blackhawks are taking 18 year old Athletic hockey analyst Harman Dayal as their head coach!

Trying to figure out if anyone's in jeopardy of not meeting the floor. Somewhat hard to tell with all the non-traction in RFA contracts but everyone seems to be in a decent-ish spot. Also monitor yourselves if you're close to the ceiling pls

Jets will select Oscar Lindberg

Who looks to be a guy who can be on the ice for 10 minutes and be ok so he can go into the mix for the 4th line. Not signed yet, but I assume he'll end up somewhere.

code:
Timo Meier	Brayden Point	Sam Reinhart
Jake DeBrusk	David Krejci	J.T. Miller
Branden Tanev	Carl Soderberg	Wayne Simmonds
William Carrier	Oscar Lindberg	Adam Gaudette
		Nathan Walker

Brendan Dillon Erik Gustafsson
Chris Tanev Nick Holden
Brett Kulak Robert Bortuzzo
Oscar Fantenberg

	MacKenzie Blackwood
	Thatcher Demko
Reasonably happy with my side, theres enough scoring (262 goals last season), but not sure my defence is up to the job. That said I think I can afford my RFA increases next season (15 million under assuming 9.5 for Point), and provided I can replace some parts next season (Chris Tanev, Simmonds) I think my team gets better for the next few seasons.

That defense is absolutely brutal, especially since Gustafsson is about as likely to repeat his previous season as I am to swallow a blackhawks jersey whole

With the 666th overall pick of the draft, the Bolts are proud to select Miroslav Satan!

...I've just been informed that Satan retired from playing hockey a long time ago. In his honor, I will select Derick Brassard. He had a very rough year last year, but hey, that's what makes him a nice late draft pick. Maybe he bounces back, or maybe he's just bad now, who knows! Worth gambling my 3rd last pick on him since I'm sure he'll get a shot on another NHL team.

Nyquist - Monahan - Wheeler
Johansson - Trocheck - White
Nieto - Steel - Hornqvist
Erne - Ryan - Sceviour
Extra: Brassard

Hedman - Petry
McNabb - Miller
Oesterle - Weegar

Yeah I think I waited too long to get defence, most of my defence (other than Tanev) have good corsi numbers, but none of them played hard minutes last year (bar Tanev again who did got shelled in doing so), perhaps one or two of them could step up, or perhaps do the whole defence thing by committee. Even getting to a combined 120 minutes toi a game will be an issue.

I haven't watched him play much, what about Gusafsson is particularly prone to regression? (His shooting % isn't that high and I assume he will still get a ton of minutes)
