tbh I lost any and all ability to take the antisemitism charges seriously when the Windrush scandal broke, Laura Kuenssberg said that the story would probably run out of steam within a week before going right back to talking about antisemitism in the labour party. Untold numbers of people who's lives were destroyed by a racist, vicious immigration policy that actively sought to ignore evidence Vs a story that's mostly about the feeling that Labour is racist among Jews after a media campaign about how Labour is antisemitic, reporting on the effects of their reporting without any acknowledgement that their reporting might have something to do with it.

It's too brazen.

I had some sympathy for the anti-Semitism stuff up until the statistics were released and the response I saw was "the only reason the incidences of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party is so low is because they're so effective at hiding it".

Plus that whole thing about "anti-capitalism is an anti-Semitic trope". Or just using tropes in general as an argument to inflate innocuous comments into full blown racism.

You and whose knees?

I can't take it seriously because the claims are that Corbyn is bumbling incompetent racist grandad and a Machiavellian terrorist power broker racist and can't ever be allowed near the PMship because he'll implement his Final Solution but is somehow more accountable for jackbooted street-level fash as Leader of the Opposition than the current PM... it's either delusion or disingenuousness.

Also I'm extremely suspicious of people whose response to a fear of allegations of racism in the far left is to swing even more weight behind the demonstrably racist status quo.

I don't know if this is surprising to you, but most British Jews are conservative, in my experience. Very few socialists and basically none that think what Israel is doing is wrong. The 'left wing jews' (with obvious exceptions like jewdas) are middle class liberals who vote Labour over tory at best (again, based off of my experiences with the North London Jewish community).

Sounds more like a performance thing, like something's messing up and dragging the app down until it falls over

I saw a few people talking about that suddenly happening but the app hadn't updated for a while (and the last update shouldn't have affected anything like that either) and I'm not seeing it either so it's hard to diagnose - maybe some embed script and maybe twitter because they're bad??

anyhow I'd check Chrome is updated (or however you update your webview on whatever phone you have) and maybe try clearing your app data to see if it fixes it :/ sorry bud, I'll see if I can see anything but it's a weird one. Also I hope you're not running that developer preview of Android because who knows if it works in that (not me)

Kuenssberg was right there, Windrush is Labour attacking the Tories which has a shelf life. AS is Labour destroying itself which will go on until one side wins because it's not about AS, it's about who controls the party.
