First things i popped in my Xbox were Doom BFG edition and downloaded Rare Replay. Been playing Doom 1 and Banjo Nuts and Bolts, and oddly enough Jet Force Gemini. I have like 9 things set to download ( including Devil May Cry V ) so ill probably have a lot more to talk about later.... Doom ports arent much to talk about, its doom. Im enjoying it. Rare Replay has been great. I jumped around and tried a bunch of their old retro titles then sat down and played a ton of Nuts and Bolts and god drat is this the only really good build a vehicle game ive ever played. Theres things to actually do and reasons to actually make a vehicle. Makes things like scrap mechanic and trailmakers on steam look like abhorrent garbage. Jet Force Gemini is something i havent gotten to try in like 20 years. Its pretty freaking cool. Has the feel of edf meets starship troopers as a cartoon action game. Gives me odd Mega Man Legends meets Ratchet and Clank vibes. Very cool. Rare Replay is a very good value.

The best part of rare replay is fixing Jet Force Gemini's controls to not be hideous. The app tells you what the games are on so you can always check. As somebody whose PC struggles with build engine games I cant help you more than that thought.

Really losing my goodwill right now. My net went down and none of my gamepass games work. It says they should be good for 30days but they won't even launch. If this console is a useless brick everytime the net goes out I'm gonna be pissed and probably sell it.

A lot of issues like this can be resolved by checking that your Xbox is primary and setting it to offline mode. Both options are in the settings.

Wtf Kingdom Come Deliverance was just banned in Australia because of implied rape in a DLC or something. I was gonna try it out again on gamepass since apparently they fixed the lock picking. Censorship is so uneven here. We Happy Few was banned too. I'm actually worried about Cyberpunk. Bans for chemical enhancements seem normal.

Everything I've seen online says if it's your home console and your sub is active it should work for 30 days offline before it needs to call home. I live in Australia we have worthless garbage internet which will only get worse, if I can't play offline that's like. A pretty big problem.

If you like other character action games like Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, God of War, etc. fire the bad boy up. If youve never played any of them its a good game if uneven in terms of the playable characters quality and on gamepass so fire it up.

It's kind of a spectacle action game on the easier difficulties but the the combat system is so absurdly deep and the skill ceiling so high that replays chasing high scores/higher difficulties/cheevos and secrets offer an absurd amount of content and fun. But the variable difficulty settings are real good at easing you in. So it's a good entry point. Man, they don't make Xbox 360 like they used to. Or at all. Just wanted to ask what exclusive disc games it has that didn't get a digital conversion before MS axed the program. Most of that is niche stuff no one wanted, like Magna Carta 2, Over G Fighters, and for some reason in the PAL region also Tenchu Z and The Outfit. Is there anything else worth mentioning?

Nah the casino is available, people are speculating it's a Carribbean island expansion for RDR2 online due to its codename (Bonaire). Come to think of it, RDR2 uses cigarettes for powerups so it should already be banned... Or is that ok because cigs are legal? I'm ok with tighter restrictions too, especially on actual gambling/lootboxes/microtransactions which are getting so bad that I'm worried about the entire future of gaming. I just think the application of them is weird and uneven.

Extremely specific backwards compatibility question that probably nobody will know the answer to: If I buy a German copy of Morrowind for the Original xbox and use that in my OneS, will it download the English version of the game? Or how does that work? I think Germany is Pal but I've no idea if the Morrowind that's on back-compat has language options. Any help greatly appreciated!
