I'm mainly showing this as it's a dull day so far and this is a different target. That's more like it! The 3rd infantry regiment has a bad day. The last forts at Kalgan are overwhelmed. The Red Army takes another base, but it's not the lightning war we were expecting. That's a lie, we know how ground combat works in this game, we were all expecting this.

We're closing in on more planes killed than lost. And this will help. A dull day, but look at that – we are now only 11 points off having destroyed more planes than we have lost. Operation Pearl Harder is still moving forwards. That's the battleships in tow for Not with a whimper, but with a bang.

I really like the reason why major damage to the Russian fleet wasn't done. Poor gunnery... An omnious sign of what was to come.

So the entire pearl harbor fleet is going to be intercepted and attacked by allied ship and land based air long before they're able to deliver a strike, yeah?

For all the smack we talk about the slow pace of the Soviet advance, they are actually just a few hexes away from Beijing ("Peiping") from multiple directions now and have taken the nearby bases.

Yeah my gut tells me they can only be used on cities, but given the success rate of bombers can sniping ships from high altitudes in this game,

23 August 1945 My last report: Escort No. 75 disappears mid-voyage, most likely due to mines. I think I started this project 15 September 1942 (2016) with the sinking of USS Wasp. This book has been on desk ever since. It's gonna be a little weird to put it away.

Can I make a suggestion that you savescum the Pearl Harbour 2: Pearl Harder strike to make sure it at least launches _any_ strike against PH? So if it's intercepted before it even have a chance, save scum that. We have all been waiting for this for way to long for it to end anti-climatically. Fair enough if it's Pearl Harbour itself that sinks you though. Or if it's a good battle.
