If any of you guys ever get a chance to see Mogwai... DO IT. Also, I pissed off Plex. Turns out moving everything to a new drive makes it re-import everything, and loses your place on stuff you're in the middle of watching... despite all the paths being the same. At this point I may as well have just wiped the database and let it start from scratch. Probably run faster, anyway. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 06:10 on Aug 24, 2019 |

I've built a few motors as seen in previous posts and I also own a Series 1 VE V6. I haven't done much to it ever simply to annoy the poo poo out of my mates dad who is a mechanic. I was driving him around this arvo and he was shocked to see 280,000 KMs on the clock. I've flushed oil a grand total of ONCE since I've owned it the past 6-7 years. Only other maintenance is a new oil pressure sensor which failed earlier in the year. Also have new plugs I intend to change one day ready. This commie is gonna be one of those bastard unkillable exceptions to the rule of that poo poo engine.

Re: Hyperdrive chat. I binged the whole season, and on the whole thought it was pretty decent. Could use 3 fewer commentators, but I'm hoping they'll get better (and I'm also a picky rear end in a top hat). Fielding was massively entertaining to watch, as were the Charger and Barion, and overall I was pleased with how it all ended, I'll tune in for the next season. Serious movie recommendation, check out Peanut Butter Falcon. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but it was wonderfully endearing, and I'm recommending it to everyone I know. In an E/N moment today, I came across my ex-fiancee's car whilst at the junkyard, and I'm still not sure how I feel about that. Part of me wants to go back and wreck the thing with a crowbar as some sort of catharsis, but part of me is really sad because I spent so much time and energy fixing that thing up, I don't want to see it dead. I may go back and strip the parts I know are fairly new

The tension pulley on the serpentine belt seized on mine and I couldn't tell you how long I drove it while the belt was slowly melting it and itself because I didn't know. I noticed the problem and drove 80km round trip to the nearest Super Cheap for a new pulley. For some reason there was a belt under the passenger seat there for me already from previous owner.
