Christie, Jackson, and Holly are all spinning Nick’s schemes to convince Cliff, Nicole, Jess, and Tommy that he was selling any and all of them out and pushing for each of them to go on the block against him. Obviously that can’t all be true but Nick plays so messy that I’m not really sure its not loosely accurate to his “I’ll do whatever and sell out anyone” desperation. I think there’s been a lot of hinting at stuff which has allowed the dirty players to spin it in whatever way is convenient. But its hard to feel bad for Nick since he’s played the game that way all summer. Feeds are avoiding everyone as they meltdown about BuzzardGate which means Cliff got like an hour of extended solo camera time for CliffNotes. Which Cliff loved but like nothing important was said. He’s laying low and letting other people go after each other, like he’s been doing all season. Eventually the feeds return to everyone else and Holly is once again name dropping celebrities who have taken the wine safari. But then Jackson mentions that Holly doesn’t like her boss. Holly scolds Jackson for saying that on the feeds so Jackson throws his mic away in anger.  Its been a traumatic day for the royal couple. Something I just realized while arguing about the season on another board. I can actually count the number of days I enjoyed the feeds this season. - Thursday night through midday Saturday of Cliff's HOH when Jack and Jackson were on the block and it wasn't yet clear Cliff was gonna take the deal. - Day 44. - Jess' HOH. - That one Friday night and Saturday morning Christie was on the block with Field Trip before Tommy won POV. - Taco Tuesday and the day and a half that followed. I think that's it. Maybe in the name of fairness toss in an hour of pie madness last night? Maybe those 2 hours in Holly's first HOH when the 6 were self destructing over the POV replacement? I'm really cherry picking here but I think that's really it. Thats roughly 2 very spread out enjoyable weeks in 9 weeks of feeds. I usually don't even question that I got my money and time's worth out of the feeds every season. But this season is really pushing it.

Nick’s newest idea is to tell Cliff that Nicole would have gone on the block if he wasn’t Prankster, just like he told Cliff last week that if he voted out Analyse Nick/Nicole would go up. This is a lie of course (and I’m not sure what Analyse has to do with anything) and Nick doesn’t know Cliff has a F4 with Holly and Jackson. Cliff’s gonna tell them and things will get worse for Nick. Which is basically Nick’s game. Tommy and Nick are backup dancers. Tommy is certain this will get on TV since his dance did. The actual performance and response is kinda like when a little kid performs a song and dance they’re really excited for and all the adults praise them over the top to make them feel good. They’re at least half loving around but they’re doing it in front of Nicole to gently caress with her while they know she’s freaking out about it. They’re total assholes. Nicole’s muttering to herself that they must be messing with her. I can’t believe they purposely gave Nicole an anxiety attack over the pies. I mean, I can… but the hell? Jess goes to check on Nicole. She comes back and tells them that Nicole is crying but Tommy refuses to go check on her. Cliff does and Nicole confirms its a con to try and get back at them. This bizarre random hypocrisy comes in him trying to figure out the votes, in which he needs Cliff. He’s campaigning to Tommy but its mostly just bashing Jess. Holly has come out and is now an unwilling part of the Nicole con because she got Nicole’s real anxiety earlier. BB calls for the Pie Punished to pie the HOH. Jess informs Nicole that everyone’s buying it except Tommy and Nick. Nicole admits to Christie and Holly that she’s faking it. They’re in on the con now. The prima donnas have now made pieing an elaborate setup with like laid down towels and a prepared location and everything. I think they only did that when they were told to. The Pie Wars were all like chasing each other around the house in the down times of the evening/afternoon. Jackson's been encouraging it and running all over the place and Nick and Christie have been playing along, but they were keeping it largely to the obvious areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and storage area. It became a problem because Holly doesn't want her makeup ruined and Tommy keeps trying to avoid it, which then led them to hitting him like 4 times in a row, which pissed him off. They're just being prima donnas. The only actual thing that seemed to be bothering people is that BB designs their house weird and puts carpets in the kitchen and bathroom, so they were starting to get funky. Huh, I didn't actually put together that that might be It Chapter 2 advertising. And yet I did make Pennywise jokes in my head. So maybe it was truly effective advertising. Either way its definitely worth checking out. I couldn't stop laughing while Nicole just melted into panic and BB played along perfectly with the clowns and lights. The only one who messed things up was Jackson by ending things too soon with his nonsense. But he might have saved Nicole a heart attack, I guess. Tommy just seems really angry that all his friends have been voted out and he didn’t get what he wanted. There’s like a noticeable shift in his behavior that everyone’s picking up on. Holly didn’t end up getting her slumber party last night, but Nicole slept in the target room with everyone except Christie and Jess, I think.

I never get fevers and I was just the biggest baby all night, let me tell you. But it broke and I got some sleep so lets watch some campaigns! Nick started campaigning with Tommy and it was a mixed bag. He tried to guilt Tommy basically telling him that he says he’s loyal but he’s never been loyal with his votes - voting out Jack and Ana and now Nick. Tommy didn’t like that and said he’s been very loving loyal. Which he hasn’t but Nick doesn’t know Tommy if he didn’t think he’d react that way. Tommy also rejected the idea that he ever told Nick that he’d keep him over Christie, even though he did. Nick also pushed that he’s a better player than Christie, but Tommy as like “I rather play with someone I can beat.” Tommy also vocalized that Nick didn’t trust him enough to tell him he was Prankster, but did tell Nicole. It didn’t sound good for Nick, to me, but Nick thought it went well. Ultimately Tommy pushed off his vote as saying he was cared to go against Jackson and Holly. Nick said he has a great pitch for them and there’s no way they’ll reject it, which made Tommy really nervous about what Nick was going to promise or target. But Nick claimed he’s naming no targets. Which is kind of Nick’s problem. He’s promising everyone in the house this loyalty and that doesn’t make sense. Cliff tells Holly about Nick’s campaign and points out that a lot of it banks on Christie being a liar, but that Nick’s been one too. Cliff did NOT receive Nick’s campaign well and basically thinks Nick quasi threatened him saying he could have put him on the block as Prankster and rallied the votes against him. Nick campaigns to Jess… which I guess you have to respect. Jess notes that its the first time they’ve talked game in over 70 days, which is probably all you need to know. Actually no, you should really know Nick’s campaign because its really funny. Essentially he argues that since everyone knows Nick is Jess’ target she should keep Nick in the game because if he’s gone then everyone will be worried that they’re Jess’ new target. A for effort. Nick also argues that he won’t vote personally against her at F2 because he thinks Paul was robbed both times. Which sounds like a case to send him to Jury, but what do I know? Nick insisted on campaigning to Holly and Jackson together, which Christie pointed out and Holly “joked” that Nick doesn’t see her as an individual player. If Nick knew anything he’d know that’s Holly’s biggest pet peeve in the house. Nick’s been telling everyone that this is his “big” campaign and that its a killer that will absolutely work, and he tells them that too. Nick’s speech is weird and over rehearsed. He speaks about himself in the 3rd person and quotes Weezy. He makes a campaign point and then says “that’s a really good campaign point.” At one point he pulls a condom out and shoves his hand up it to illustrate how he can be “protection” for the showmance. Holly reapplies her makeup while Tommy studies the memory wall. Tommy thinks the hardest part of the comp will be remembering people’s names. Nothing's impossible but the only question about the vote seems to be if Nicole throws a sympathy vote. Jackson and Holly are convinced Christie is targeting Cliff/Nicole. Christie told Cliff shes targeting Jackson/Holly but that's good for him and he wants Nick gone since Nick has basically vowed loyalty to everyone but him and Jess. Jess or course wants the guy openly gunning for her gone and not her only friend left. Tommy's terrified of being against the royal couple and Christie, especially after last week's close call. That leaves Nicole. Right now noms next week look something like Christie: Jackson and Holly Tommy: Jackson and Cliff/Nicole Cliff: Tommy and Christie Nicole: Tommy and Christie Jess: Jackson and Cliff? Jackson keeps saying he has to throw and he feels safe. If he did win I don't know what he do. Probably Jess and maybe Christie? He's not even discussing it and he's suddenly talking about Tommy as the top threat so any of those three. Cliff and. Nicole don't seem completely safe to me. Tommy and Jess both might take half measures and not put Holly up, which could save Jackson/Holly and send Cliff/Nicole out the door. I feel like Jess has to be a mortal lock for F4 with Nick gone but Jackson still has his "she's a feminist" thing and this cast is allergic to risk. So someone could take the easy shot. Then of course there's the possibility of a cancelled eviction or battls back. I'm kind of thinking battle back. We haven't seen any Jury segments yet and they're saying a live HOH on the feeds. The more I thought about it, it's probably better for Cliff / Nicole / Jess to let Christie stay. I FEEL like the 3 of them are off a lot of peoples radars right now. Tommy and Christie want Jackson and Holly gone and vice versa. I was thinking about this today and please tell me if you think this is dumb: If Cliff, Nicole or Jess win HOH they should put up either some combo of J/H and C/T. The HoH then tells each person individually "You are the pawn, don't worry we want to send the other person home." Then no matter how the veto goes down the HoH has a safe cover. The down side is that this would draw a line in the sane with either side.

Someone at CBS recently said that anyone going to MTV won't be brought back for CBS's shows. I guess Victor was but they said that was early into the situation. But I imagine that's not really a huge factor. Someone like Jack probably has no chance of ever coming back but would probably excel on something like the Challenge (I haven't actually watched since the Miz days but I see Paulie Caulifiorie is a regular, so I think I get the vibe). But like Jackson and Holly keep talking so much about how they want to do Amazing Race. My instinct is that that hope will dry up as soon as they see the fan response to them and this season but who knows? CBS loves its rear end in a top hat couples. I'm old and I watched the Real World and Road Rules and the first whatever seasons of Real World vs Road Rules Challenge. So I think I know the vague concept of the Challenge. I actually decided to DVR a repeat of the premiere because I'm mild curious to see Josh in that sitting. But like I only recognize the BB players from the cast list. I didn't know until this season that it had become a kind of way station for BB players. But yeah, I would imagine any of the pretty, fit Gr8ful pricks would fit the idea of what I have in my mind. Jack, Jackson, Nick, Bella, Ana... I guess. She's pretty and fit at least even if she has no personality at all.
