Which is just Berserk, really I think those sculpts are fine, content-wise; sexuality obviously has a place in art and can have one in gaming, and it can be cute when it's campy (like the hobbit brothel posted a couple pages ago) or cool when it's unsettling without being just boring hardcore porn (like Giger's better art, or even some of GW's new Slaanesh poo poo). In fact, people often have the same problem depicting sensuality/sexuality in art as they do horror: failing to grasp that showing less literal sex is often more, whether the goal is to be creepy or erotic.

I hate sounding like a broken record because I've bitched about Kingdom Death a lot before but it's the most textbook example of cargo cult bullshit. They're aping Dark Souls and similar aesthetics without a consistent underpinning theme or quality to any of it. It exists solely so everyone at the table can sit there and act very straight faced and "mature" about the subject matter when in reality everyone is either a) uncomfortable or b) horny. It's an embarrassing loving mess with no rhyme or reason, but hey the one positive is that it's good for letting you immediately know someone has horrendous taste in style and game mechanics both.

Give me neon soaked far future battlefields where diamond armour turns laser shots into a disco show, the rockets are fluted to scream discordant wails at the enemy, and prismatic energy fields carry troops aloft on butterfly wings to rain techniclolour death. The enemy can see you with thermals, gravimetric sensors, whatever, so don't even bother with camo, just go full on Liberace on your tanks.

here's my own unspirational story: i broke the poo poo out of my dishwasher. there's a plastic water supply tube that has little plastic interlockers to hold it in place. being an idiot, i just pulled it out straight and the interlockers broke off. but i'm also a huge rear end nerd who converts my own plastic miniatures, so i was able make some new interlockers from little pieces of a GW sprue and some plastic glue.  thanks for listening to my story, peace
