Frankly, posting a video with that title and still image should be probatable. But maybe I'm getting crotchety with age who knows.

The way they talk about sappers makes it sound like they're just another regular civil servant like paramedics or firefighters in Ukraine.

Imagined posted:https://i.imgur.com/6grfK82.mp4 That accident with the ring kind of happened to a guy I knew. He was crawling around in the rafters at the top of his family's barn. He slipped and fell off but the ring on his finger got stuck between two rafters, somehow. He was just dangling from the ceiling by his ring finger. Said he looked up and just watched his finger slip right off and hang from the ceiling as he fell to the floor. He seemed to find it pretty humorous by the time I met him, though.

I think it's because they're Big and in Water and so you could be mashed AND drowned instead of just mashed OR drowned.

Jesus loving christ I get nervous enough when small boats pass nearby and I’m underwater. We had a large tug come within 300m and that was louder than hell, I can’t imagine how loud a full freighter is Also, whoever it was that said rotating parts lust for flesh, it goes double for boat props. They have a habit of cutting someone and donating what comes off to the fishes, who happily swarm and pick at the fresh meal that they were just gifted
