For those a software update in early 2017 added the software clients and certain models (including FiST) required an upgrade to the 2017+ USB hub to support CarPlay because it had the special chip Apple requires. wolrah fucked around with this message at 16:19 on Aug 29, 2019 |

It's a lot darker. The launch blue is so bright and gorgeous. <sigh> If this were to theoretically happen it's gonna be black. But full upfront, I'm test driving a Lexus IS-F in about 90 minutes. That's still very high on my list of possible cars. HM letting me drive his RS kind of turned me back around to hot hatches so I need to get more drives down but if the ISF catches me it might be a done deal.

It's funny that before, when I looked at those BMW 1s I couldn't actually afford it. Now that I have decent income i can't make up my mind. Is that a stage 1 flash? Back in April I bought a Cobb accessport from from stratified tuning I just got around to flashing the custom ECU e-tune (kinda like an ots tune but they tweak it a bit for a lot better drivability and a bit more power than ots Cobb tunes) and their custom dsg tune. It's so good. So so so so sooo much better than the Cobb tune.

I'm kinda in the same boat here although nowhere near as noticeable as yours. I just curbed my rim for the first time in a long time (two previous cars had a perfect track record). If anyone has any recommendations for shops that can refinish a rim in Orlando I'd much appreciate it.

There's very likely a shop near you that does wheel powder coating, painting, and repair of minor curb rash. That doesn't look too bad, although I'm not sure if the finish is bare metal or a paint. You might try looking around for that. Anecdotally: I had a set of 5zigen FN01R-Cs on my 240sx 13ish years ago that I curbed while parallel parking at a gf's house. Long story short, I found a shop in Houston that somehow touched up the chips in the paint or powdercoat finish and fixed them up to a point where I could not find the damage when looking for it. I think I paid $200, maybe?

I hurt one of my wheels that bad a few months ago. They're aftermarket and not a normal colour so I was hesitant about taking them to a shop, but I got it done at one that even matches paint codes of aftermarket wheels. $125 and it looks brand new. I'm sure a wheel shop could take care of it.

I'd probably be in an alltrack if it had more cabin space (seems to share same dimensions as a GTI in the front and rear seats) than a GTI. I like dis dull car.

And for it to fit into a tightly packaged 2.0 TSI engine bay so easily, wow!
