Class and bigotry as issues are intertwined, and our entire society is built off of them playing off each other to keep an aristocratic class in power. You have to oppose both racism and capitalism to get anywhere with either. Anyone that genuinely cares about those miners and the cause they took up arms to fight for has to accept that.
