Really any speaker who doesn't compel MPs to ACTUALLY ANSWER the question they get is useless. Jesus christ, what's even the point of asking questions if nobody ever answers them?

Some of which isn't really real, but a gentlemen's agreement sealed by handshake in the late 19th century. No, a VoNC only requires a simple majority (and the Government not to pass a confidence vote within two weeks), it's 2/3rds for an early election under FTPA.

happyhippy posted:Phillip Lee left because Rees Mogg talked poo poo to a Doctor on some radio show earlier today or yesterday. He accused the doctor who'd been consulted on the government's Yellowhammer risk assessment as being a remoaner and a scaremonger. So, basically insulted the expert who'd drawn up part of the government's own findings. Which of course Mogg likes to lie about because of how damaging they are.

Aye Reel Politik making memes about him until the press couldn't ignore it and he decided to respond really hosed him. Went from a non entity to Gay Frog man quick. Jo Swindon is probably going to pick up a lot of seats but that'll hurt the Tories more than Labour. And Jo will lose her seat to the SNP most likely and it will be hilarious.

Using the election matters website to work out which seats the lib dems could target reveals that 86 of the 100 seats are tory. Make of that what you will. And they also split 50/50 leave/remain. This is going to be a wild GE.
