makes sense that when you drag from the left the arrow pops up pointing left, implying that you're navigating in the opposite direction of the swipe, whereas interacting with any other element or gesture moves the element in the direction of the swipe

webos devices had a dedicated gestures area (with nifty led lighting that would trail the gestures you made) and there was a back gesture. it was pretty nice. so yeah ios and android are still totally catching up with webos
