Hi UKMT, been a while. Holy poo poo! e: gently caress sake lol. 51: Since the greatest prime factor of 512 + 1 = 2602 is 1301, which is substantially more than 51 twice, 51 is a Størmer number.

Sorry if this is already posted but I'm about 5 pages behind just now: This picture posted by Reuters: https://twitter.com/reuterspictures/status/1169009600101781512 Whether it's authentically from tonight I don't know (and she is in different clothes from earlier scenes but that doesn't necessarily mean anything). Someone in the comments claims it's not from tonight (but I reverse googled and couldn't find it anywhere else) another claims it's up on the BBC tonight. (Ed: Yes I realize I was well beaten on this one a couple of pages back). Jaeluni Asjil fucked around with this message at 00:30 on Sep 4, 2019 |

I doubt the Banished Tories would actually want to let a labour government happen so this seems like a waste of time to actually attempt? not to mention actually passing anything would be a bastard

so there are now, what, 30-odd independent MPs in Parliament? it must have been ages since there were anything like that many

It'd get around the prorogueing waste of time for starters.

Would it actually be good or suicide to have a Lab/SNP/Lib government formed, ask for an extension, make no-deal illegal, then have an election? Or does that just give Boris his momentum back?

If so it may be blocking Twitter trackers which screws up the embedded ones. DDG now has a checkbox to display embedded tweets which is unchecked by default.

njsykora posted:The Lib Dems wouldn't go with Labour, I feel we've been over this enough times. Yeah the whole thing is a bit moot now that BoJo wants an election. The one thing it does is serve as an insurance policy if the anti-no-deal bill fails for some reason, we could VONC Boris and conceivably install Corbyn as a temporary PM now that enough ex-Tories might abstain or vote with him.

The Prime Minister only exists via convention right? Imagine if they did something wild like took control but with an agreement there would be no PM until after an election.
