JACKSONVILLE, NC (WITN) - Communities often see his visits during hurricane season as a bad sign, but one Jacksonville business is welcoming this personality with open arms. The Platinum Gentleman's Club has a photo of the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore up on their electronic message screen out front with the caption "Jim gets in free". The adult business is on Lejeune Boulevard, not far from Camp Lejeune's main gate.

A large island off the mid-atlantic coast would probably be a really nice place with a great climate. Basically the Azores but big enough to support agriculture.

New Zealand being the retreat for billionaires post collapse is the public facing distraction. I'd be really surprised if at least a few of them weren't also building bunkers in the Azores.

I'd be really surprised if at least a few of them weren't also building bunkers in the Azores. The Azores rely on shipments from mainland Portugal for..well, basically everything. They might became self sustaining agriculturaly, but lack everything else.its gonna be a kind of a lovely life, but they would probably not cook to death like the rest of the world. Besides, there's a Vulcano there and you never know when those fuckers go off.
