You know what though, when the E60 came out everybody thought it was ugly, but it's aged pretty well. I think BMW is counting on it to be ugly now but crazy enough to be remembered in twenty years. I don't like it, but I think I understand it. It's at least different and I respect that.

Most people lost their poo poo at all the Bangle cars and it makes sense...it was a wildly different look on a car with a rich heritage. They haven’t aged poorly but the e46/e39 have aged a lot better. But I also remember seeing an e90 in person for the first time and thinking that it really looked much better than the pictures implied so I 100% believe drgitlin that it looks great in person.

The E65 to a lesser degree, and the E90 is also not that great IMO, E92, sure, but the sedans were and are kind of awkward looking.

My absolute favorite thing about these concept car abomination reveals is scrolling back through the photoshops until I get to the actual car, and somehow it's always worse than I expect. I wonder if the grille lights up at night.
