There were a bunch of games with Wii Balance Board support but that's cause they sold like 30 million boards. They've been pretty good at adding Labo stuff to other games.

I don't think their pilates ring will have much use in other games but the garter belt that detects you running in place might.

I think I'm finally after 3 days getting near the end of Chapter 9 of Celeste and my hands are ready to fall off. The second half of this chapter I think needed another playtesting pass. The first half is amazing, the second half has several sections that are just outright insane even for a hardest level situation. A lot of it is the fact that almost every room is reliant on two very finicky inconsistent mechanics and some of the rooms really start to become a grind. Visually the stage is gorgeous but I miss the platforming of the first half of the stage.

There's also several rooms where it's very unclear what you're supposed to do or even if you're doing the room right and really should've had better signposting

Watched the new Death Stranding cutscene footage. It's very Metal Gear Solid in how it's setup. Lots of exposition that leaves more questions then answers, that you will then figure out later as you keep playing.

Yep, its MGS without Snake which is exactly what I knew Kojima would do.

It makes sense not to do something too risky when you're starting a new studio though. And its not just some not-Snake spy game, but an actually unique setting.

Still, the game looks pretty boring to me.

MGS3 was my favorite MG becuase it had the least of the stupid poo poo like vampires and cyber-ninjas and was mostly a grounded, human tale set during political intrigue and war. (yeah, there's still a guy who can shoot lightning and magical bees... its Kojima)
