My OCD goes nuts when cars have multiple colours for the 'same' materials though, using that car as an example it's a lovely blue with chrome accents and has soft silver coloured wheels. If the brightwork was gloss black along with the wheels it would look the tits.

I certainly understand your comment in regards to E9* M3 with chrome grills from factory... but BMW offers OEM black grills. My 335is comes with black grills and the body shop *still* gave me chrome grills:   (Black grills look great, fight me)  I have the chrome grills 'new in box' if anyone needs them.

The chrome kidneys on my E82 bother me because they're the only chrome on the car besides the model badge which I'll probably take off when I get it detailed. Not sure why the shadowline package doesn't include the black kidneys by default.
