This year they aren’t getting sacks at the same rate, but are allowing much fewer big plays and points. Players seem to know how to tackle, receivers aren’t running around uncovered, etc.

Yeah Lamar and the Baltimore offense will of course be a much harder test. But last years Chiefs defense would have performed much worse in these Oakland and Jacksonville games, I am sure of it.

Also I don’t know who’s worse Trubisky or Flacco. Probably Flacco but at least they know he’s not the future unlike the Bears who are delusional if the think Trubisky should play the rest of the year.

The only thing that can protect anyone from injury is not playing. Most of the safety rules are good optics for the league but don’t actually stop players from destroying one another.
