30+ percent of british voters are genuine crazed reactionaries who get all their news from papers run by incredibly evil people. blair got those papers onside, but corbyn absolutely cannot and should not do that. this means that labour has to go fishing in the remaining sixty-oss percent of the population, where they're seeing some hard competition from the lib dems who've managed to make themselves the default party of remain identity politics swinson seems to be screwing up a bit, but it's going to take some doing to wrest the people wounded by labour's apparent dithering on brexit back from her. barring that, they need farage to run and split the death cult vote

I'm kind of expecting the Libdems to not do anywhere near as well as their press office tells people they're going to. Nobody knows who the crap any of them are. Plus point - Corbyn and co winning or at least doing better than anyone else with the media crap on them, means the party can happily run socialists as leaders for the rest of my lifetime. Which'd be nice.
