It has euphoric effects but also straight up induces empathy. Not in a "wow that must suck for them" kind of way but a very real emotional connection to the thoughts going through your mind, even if they previously held no value. It makes you talk, and really share important details, not the sort of guarded version of you that is normally presented. It was used in couples therapy for years and I think in some cases it still is. And I'm sure this is all horseshit to someone who has never experienced it, and maybe they're right, i'm just saying dose every flyover state

I would have killed myself a long time ago without psychedelics. they helped me to see shades of grey, where before things were either 100% good or bad, and really if you look at anything long enough you will find the bad and it will become 100% bad. I am really glad they are starting research on their therapeutic effects again
