There's no reason to think any bodies would be there because of how easy it is to permanently dispose of a body in the ocean, but assuming there were bodies who would even be in a position to find them? The only people with access to the property and the resources necessary to go excavating are the Epstein estate and the federal government. Any attempt to access the bodies would probably constitute a greater risk than leaving them be, assuming there were any, which again doesn't make very much sense to begin with.

25 miles is a lot of fuel just to dump a body. Especially when you could just pulpate a body in your rock crusher and spread the chum out in the sea when nobody's around.

Being rich really improves your access to mass murder if you think about it. Just look at the Vegas shooter. It actually makes me wonder if any convicted serial killers were rich themselves. There were plenty of middle class serial killers, but if you're rich then there's so many more ways to just completely evade investigation or even prosecution.

Robert Durst and Ed Buck spring to mind as wealthy serial killers. Of course Buck hasn't been convicted of anything and while Durst may go down for murder finally, so far he has only been convicted of dismembering one of his victims bodies, while being found innocent on the charge of murdering them. If you're willing to reach far enough into the past then H.H. Holmes was rich by normal people standards but nowhere near Durst levels of money. If you really wanted to reach then Elizabeth Bathory and Giles de Rais would count. Also there was that guy in ancient Rome who liked throwing his still living slaves into a pool full of flesh eating lampreys, but strictly speaking he was never convicted of any crimes, the emperor Augustus just had all his lamprey's killed.

At a certain level of wealth I think you just can't get off on normal poo poo anymore. Like I can't imagine some fuckin' rich dude sitting around going "man I wish Monster Hunter World Iceborne was out on PC" or like, being satisfied for a few days by hunting new monsters in January or whatever. So instead in order to just feel anything at all they have to kill people and enact bizarre fetish scenarios with children and just really push the envelope because their broken brains are incapable of feeling anything since they're so disconnected from normal human experiences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3HCXh9WQSo

When he was just a mere multi-millionaire, Minecraft creator Notch wanted to use some of his millions to get a sequel made to his favourite video game but backed out when it turned out it might cost him most of his wealth. Then he became a billionaire and instead decided to use his money to move to America and live in a mansion by himself and do nothing. Maybe money literally causes mental illness?

Unfettered access to push pins and yarn are a contributing factor.

LIVE AMMO COSPLAY posted:Maybe money literally causes mental illness? Oh yeah I like when this pops up in the thread. It does! It's fun to contextualize wealth. Remember when Bill Gates "had to" use ~channels~ to give MIT Labs 20 million? Yeah that's like you or I spending 20 bucks.* They're insane and criminal. *Based on $100K income: $20 is $20 Based on $1mil income: $20 is $2 Based on $10mil income: $20 is $.20 $100mil: $20 is $.02 $1bil: $20 is $.002 $10bil: $20 is $.0002 $100bil: $20 is $.00002 Therefore, $20mil to a person with $100bil is $20. This is how you should be thinking whenever you consider millionaires and billionaires, to understand the scale of their criminality - this amount of wealth is not only a crime in and of itself, their reluctance to share it, too, is evidence of their criminality and illness. TI and 2Chainz got mad this weekend because a pastor asked them for $1000, an absolute pittance to people worth $65 million and $6 million, respectively (using the above it's either $10 or $100 after adjustment) - the moronic radio hosts (The Breakfast Club) reporting on it agreed that it was an obscene request, people are incapable of conceptualizing wealth at these scales without concerted effort.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jeffrey-epstein-whats-next-for-zorro-ranch-where-accusers-say-they-were-raped-trafficked-2019-08-31/ afaik from reading here and the odd twitter thread due to the weird terms of the lease deal the feds claim they can't do anything because the staff of the epstein company which owns the land have to give them permission to visit, and they can't execute a search warrant because they say they don't have enough grounds. all complete bullshit ofc but that's what they seem to be implyibg. in the article above the state of NM says it believes it has grounds to tear up the lease and seize the property given the testimony of vics but...that was a month ago, and *nothing* has happened since then. but the property is still being maintained and the staff are still refusing to talk to press or police.
