He has no means or resistance, the whistleblower is literally coming from what's supposed to be his SS and all the security and Intel services hate him except ICE.

Absolutely not. We let W get off scot-free. I want my loving scalp.

If there's to be any hope for this planet for this century, we must have severe consequences for everyone who got us to where we are.

I kind of agree with this only because he has state level charges being thrown at him. Guy is going to go right back into a trial once he becomes a common citizen, and let's be real, two months is a life sentence for someone that close to the edge

Yeah Vauthry is very clearly Trump. Eulmore's restrictive immigration policies and feudal social structure enforced by them having the largest military on Norvrandt are definitely intended as a harsh parody of modern American society. The Flood is meant as a metaphor for climate change, which Vauthry ignores (arguing that it's a good thing, in fact) in favor of decadence.

He won’t stick around as soon as he’s told he’s unwelcome; he’ll immediately get Marine One to Reagan airport and jump on one of his jets for a nice long uh, vacation to a Trump Hotel in Moscow.

That said I would love to see him refuse to leave and get pistol-whipped by a Secret Service Agent while they have to get 2 or 3 men to drag his obese rear end out of the Oval Office.

So the politicians learn that it's fine to do this? The idiot doesn't have the military on his side, he doesn't even have the intelligence community on his side.

If you had one mainstream news article to convince an educated, vaguely liberal person to take Ukraine seriously what would you send to them?

I was talking with 2 coworkers in the breakroom and both of them said they didn't really understand what was going on. They understand that it's serious but they have no idea why. I said I'd send them something that explains it.

That's one of the great things about this whole thing. There's nothing really convoluted about it. Trump attempted to bribe a foreign nation with millions of taxpayer dollars to help him win an election by asking them to go directly after his top rival. It's about as a direct assault on the central foundation of our democracy as you could possibly get. If this all checks out (likely) it might be regarded as the most corrupt actions taken by an sitting U.S. President, ever. And just these past couple of hours it appears as though Trump has threatened the people who outed him with death.

its this. And he is only going to get more overt as time passes and he lashes out blindly under the pressure. Trump's entire adult life has been predicated upon never experiencing consequences for his misdeeds, and now he's about to suffer the ultimate consequence: the public stripping away of his power and prestige- a future of unending public humiliation and mockery directed at him while he is completely powerless to respond. This is perhaps the greatest conceivable wound a narcissist could ever suffer. Even at his prime this would have been impossible for Trump to have handled calmly and rationally, but now? After these years of constant stress and paranoia? He's going to lose all connection with reality and you start lashing out blindly and random.

In short: shouty Grandpa's going to go and get himself so worked up he's going to poo poo his pants on live television. (It would be really funny if people weren't going to get hurt because of it.)
